Captain Pappu Sastry
With 15+ years leading mining logistics and transshipment across Africa, Captain Sastry has pioneered transshipment models from Asia to West Africa. He has built and scaled major logistics infrastructure for bauxite, iron ore, and jetty operations, leveraging his global bulk shipping experience. He holds an MBA from the University of Manchester, a CCEO certification from CEO Institute Australia, and a Bachelor’s in Nautical Sciences from Southshields, UK.
James Lumley
With over 30 years of experience in the global resource sector, including a decade focused on Africa, James Lumley has led multiple mining operations such as TerraCom Resources’ Guinea projects and Cape Lithium in South Africa. He possesses extensive expertise in capital raising and in building strategic relationships with Pan-African investors and governments. James has also collaborated with the UK Government on African development initiatives and co-presented at the Mining Indaba in Cape Town.
George Lumley
With over a decade of experience in professional and business development across multiple sectors, George Lumley serves as Manager of Business Development & Client Relations at GSC, where he drives global growth initiatives within the mining and logistics sectors.
Previously, George held the role of Client Partner at Amberjack Global, where he delivered large-scale talent and project solutions for major initiatives such as NHS GMTS and HS2. As Senior Client Partner at Coaching Focus Group, he led leadership development programmes for international organisations including OVO, McDonald’s, IET, and BOSCH. Earlier in his career, George worked as an Employability Trainer with Motiv-8 SW, designing and implementing workforce development programmes for the UK Government
Sheba Khan
As our HR Manager, Sheba brings a unique blend of warmth, structure, and extensive experience to the core of our team. Based in Dubai, she ensures that our people are supported, our processes are efficient, and our workplace consistently reflects a balance of professionalism and a personal touch. Sheba’s career spans diverse roles in business development, alumni relations, and consulting. What truly distinguishes her, however, is her calm and thoughtful leadership style, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine commitment to the growth and well-being of those around her.

She has a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving client acquisition, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Skilled in CRM management, market research, and strategic client relationship building, Lakshmi is recognized for her leadership, teamwork, and consistent performance excellence. She is passionate about strategy, collaboration, and helping businesses achieve new milestones. Lakshmi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Guru Nanak College of Arts & Science, India.
Chetan Madani
Qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAI, India with over 7 years of experience in Dubai & India, demonstrating expertise across Financial Reporting, External Audit, Internal Audit, Taxation (UAE VAT & Corporate Tax), Financial Management, and Strategic Accounting Functions. Proven ability to manage end-to-end Accounting & Finance functions, ensure tax compliance in alignment with UAE regulations, and deliver financial insights to support business growth. Strong record of improving financial controls, optimizing reporting processes, and leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
