Vinay Tuteja / CEO

Vinay Tuteja is an Indian born business executive turned entrepreneur currently based in Dubai, UAE. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a certified Cost Accountant. He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

He started his professional career from India (Ahmedabad) with a leading conglomerate before he migrated to Nigeria in 1999. He has over 27 years of experience in Banking, Finance, Treasury Management, Project Capital Management, Audit and Taxation with specialization in Trade Finance, Project Finance, and Treasury Management with a key focus on Business Development.

He served in Nigeria with a large and versatile multinational conglomerate with its business spread in most West African nations where he worked as General Manager and shortly after, he was appointed as Finance Director for Nigeria. Later he we went on to become and lead the Group as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) before he was transferred to Dubai at their Global Headquarters. He is indeed very familiar with not only the Nigerian business terrain but whole of the West African region.

His achievements have been in setting and implementing green field projects in Nigeria which include backward integration program for rice and manufacture of polypropylene woven sacks, integrated plant for manufacture of flexible packaging and plant for manufacture of block- bottom bags.

He also served as a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Skye Bank Plc. (now Polaris Bank), a prominent commercial bank in Nigeria where he was Chairman of Board Risk Management Committee Board Audit Committee, HR Committee and the General Purpose & Finance Committee. He was also vigorously involved in the bank consolidation exercise that took place across Nigeria in 2004-2005 and played a key role in merger of Reliance Bank Limited into Skye Bank Plc.

He strongly believes in developing people and honing their skill sets. He is also aptly skilled in dispute resolution. He is a leader and a manager in its true sense.

Shivkumar Iyer / COO

Shivkumar completed his M. Tech (Mechanical) from India. After completing his graduation, he briefly worked with a multinational FMCG brand in India where he gained his experience in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. Thereafter, he migrated to Nigeria where he headed the logistics division of a multinational conglomerate with an annual turnover of over US$ 2.0 billion. Here he was aggressively involved in the supply chain management and logistics for the group having its presence all across the costal West Africa. He pioneered the setup a chartering desk which successfully handled approximately 2-3 million tons of various commodities during his tenure. He was also instrumental in setting up a supply chain including clearing and shipping agency business in various ports of Africa. He held this position for a decade before venturing into his own business. Collectively, he holds an experience of over 22 years in supply chain, logistics, vessel chartering, shipping, clearing and allied areas. He started his supply chain logistics company in 2011 which deployed port equipment viz. mobile bagging equipment and cranes in various ports of West Africa to handle real time bagging at the port. Shivkumar has displayed his acumen of being a successful entrepreneur by organically expanded the company’s operations to 8 ports in West Africa, Sri Lanka, Somalia and are soon to commence in Kenya. The Company is now headquarter in Dubai, UAE.

Nestor Tolno / Director & Shareholder's Rep

Nestor has been working the first seven years of this decade as a free-lance consultant for international companies and NGO’s wishing to start activities or settle in Guinea.  He worked at a stretch for Flamingo International, Media Impact then joined Solis Investment group from 2018 to 2019 as operations Manager. He is currently working at the Guinea private Investments promotion agency where he holds the position of Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, APIP. Nestor has been an English teacher in Guinea and is well versed with the government regulations and protocol. He brings with him, a host of local contacts in Investments, Mining, Ministries, Infrastructure and is an important link for the basic functioning of GSC.

Manoj Ghanwani/ Finance Controller

Manoj comes with over 26 years of experience of having served in multinational conglomerates in various positions in varied fields which included import & export, procurement, logistics & customs clearance, treasury operations, accounts, banking and finance primarily in areas of trading, manufacturing, agriculture and IT. He last served as Financial Controller of a large Asian multinational corporation. His focal skills are team building, relationship management, treasury operations, loan syndication, structuring and restructuring, trade / project finance.

His career began in India with a large 100% EOU (Export Oriented Unit) dealing in agricultural products, while pursuing his Masters in Business Administration. Thereafter, he worked briefly as a Centre Manager for an IT institute offering degree and diploma courses before migrating to Nigeria where he served in various positions and scaled his way to head a treasury of over $1.0 billon.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (B. Com) from University of Delhi and a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) from YMCA University of Science & Technology, Delhi. He has also done a diploma in International Trade from Northern India Bank Staff Training College, Delhi. Also, completed a Certificate Program “Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship, University of Maryland.

Georges Philippe-Desneufbourgs / Logistics Advisor

Georges Philippe-Desneufbourgs has a professional career reflecting over 40 years of expertise in the Shipping Industry at management level in Shipbroking, Chartering, Ship Management Operations, Logistics for dry bulk and projects cargoes, with a proven track record within highly competitive markets.

In 1979, following his graduation from London School of Foreign Trade he worked for Agemar Monaco and Coframar Paris before joining Athina Navigation Ltd London as a partner and shipbroker, became a member of The Baltic Exchange with accounts such as Caltram Algeria and Sitram National Shipping Lines of Ivory Coast.

In 1982, he formed Conasset Ltd (1982-2000) achieving great commercial success with exclusive accounts such as Sitram National Shipping Lines of Ivory Coast responsible for the transport of 70% of cocoa exports ex Abidjan to USA and Continent ,Minmetals Uk achieving 1,2 million /MT per year pig iron exports ex Brazil to India and Steirwood International Ltd Liberia , financing the latter and involved with chartering, managing and operating matters for vessels taken on long term charter for the transportation of logs and fertilisers ex West Africa.

In 2004, he launched L Dens Hellas Ltd (2004-2017), as managing director and partner, establishing a sound reputation in the European market with the support of Samsun Logix Korea and developing new market and clientele in Dubai, Vietnam, Singapore.

Commercially astute with excellent communications skills , a good business reputation and a
high standard of personal integrity and works ethics.

Girish C Pillai / Project Manager

Academics in B.Tech Mechanical engineer.

Having 6 years of experience in materials innovation, maintenance, production and design.

Having experience in maintenance of mobile bagging machine, production, handling various onsite port operations and business development. Worked in West African countries (such as Guinea; Conakry, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Benin and Nigeria) handling various onsite port bulk bagging operations.

Business development made convenient by handling clients along with local support with ample knowledge of French(Inelegant), English, Hindi, Malayalam and Gujarati languages.
